Text message conversation between Brace Boy and I… from yesterday:
Brace Boy: Good Morning Babe
Me: Morning
Brace Boy: How are you?
Me: Super tired, but good. At work… just today and tomorrow, then a break 
Brace Boy: And me?
Me: I’m going to DC tomorrow (ps- this trip got cancelled due to weather today). I want to be honest with you – I don’t see this going any further. I didn’t feel the initial spark that a girl needs. I think you are cute and nice, but I just don’t think we can be more than friends. Sorry if I hurt you in any way – you are special, and deserve honesty.
Brace Boy: Cool
Brace Boy: I thought there was a “spark”?
Me: I’m sorry- honestly, it was not there for me.
