Wednesday June 1st 2011 — to fall
This whole thing is about falling. Sometimes it’s about falling in love… sometimes it’s about falling on your face… and sometimes it’s about holding your breath, and waiting for that other shoe to fall.
Dating can be such an emotional rollercoaster. You feel something strong and powerful.. only to find out it was one-sided. You feel nothing.. only to hear the person you are out with is crazy about you. You want to try, but life gets in the way. You wish you had more time to date more, but the time you spend dating strangers is already borrowed from other priorities. You meet someone amazing.. but their timing is off. You document your feelings in a blog… the person you are dating reads it. Honestly, I don’t blame anyone for not wanting to date. I wouldn’t do it… had I no idea of how amazing it is when you have someone special – I’d be done dating. But, I know that feeling all to well… that feeling a girl gets when she looks at a person and her heart says “that’s My Man”…. it’s amazing. That feeling carries a lot of emotion, and the commitment that goes along with is runs much deeper than words.
I am melancholy today… nothing I can do to shake it. But, I will keep going. I have some great Men I am talking to… and hopefully the other shoe won’t fall with at least one of them.
Keep your chin up…it’s definitely a roller coaster…but it’s worth the ride. Love ya girl!!
